Pets at Riverside Retreat
Pets are welcome, as long as they are on leash and under the owner’s control at all times and owners pick up after their pet. Management reserves the right to refuse or evict any pet owner at any time. Pets must not be left unattended in cabins or campsites.
There is a pet fee of $5 per pet each stay.
Riverside Retreat recommends The Groom Room and Kennels if you're looking for a puppy-sitter to watch Fido while you hike any of the pet-free trails in the area (like the Skyline Trail) Please note, the kennel requires all animals to have their shots updated. Be sure to bring along their proof of vaccine from the vet.
Kayak and Canoe Equipment Rental
Each paddler must sign a waiver.
Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by and adult (19 years or older)
Life jackets are provided and must be worn at all times while on the water.
Maximum 3 people in a canoe.
Maximum one person per seat in kayaks.
Hours of operation are subject to change without notice.
Tie down straps for the canoes and kayaks are the responsibility of the renter and may be purchased at the office.
Cancellations
Please notify Riverside Retreat as soon as possible if your travel plans change. We are happy to work with you to rebook your visit for a later time or provide a refund where applicable.

Cancellations with 7 + days prior to arrival: 100% refundable, minus a $10 non-refundable administration fee.

Cancellations with 2-6 days prior to arrival: 50% refunded, minus a $10 non-refundable administration fee

Cancellations less than 2 days will no be refunded.

No refunds will be given for poor weather, the discomforts of nature or early departures.

As new health recommendation are announced, Riverside Retreat will adjust and accommodate to follow provincial restrictions and guidelines. COVID has us all yearning to get outside and get back to nature. We want you and your family to be safe while visiting the area and will work with health officials to follow safety recommendations.
